I"m a vegetarian (eat eggs, dairy, etc but not fish, red meat, poultry), will this diet work for me?

Hey Brad

I'm excited, yet hesitant to purchase your book. Does it talk a lot about the mental/psychological component of weight loss? Because that's what I've found to be the big "missing piece" of the picture.

Other than that, my approach is working well for me. Will this book benefit me?

Thanks!

Hi Apurva,

I think you will really like this program, and there are no restrictions to who can and cant use the diet, so you still be able to eat the way you wish.

Hi Brad!

Im wondering what are your credentials in the field of nutrition? I found something that said youre a student but nothing suggesting youve completed your studies. Thanks for a response. :)

Hi Marcol,

I completed my Bsc in Nutrition back in 2000, worked in the sports supplement industry for 7 years, and am now back in school doing graduate studies.

Hi Brad,

I just read your ebook, and I'm going to give your methods a try.

I have two questions:

What if I want to fast 3 or 4 times a week, instead of just two? Can I do this?

My second question is about weightlifting and creatine. I am unfamiliar with weightlifting, but I think I may start attending the weights class at my gym. Do you think I would benefit from taking creatine while doing the weights program?

Thanks,
Christina

Hi Christina,

Theoretically, increasing the numbers of fasts you do in a week should increase weight loss. However, from my experiences its just not worth the hassle! People have been seeing very good and consistent weightloss with fasting once or twice a week, without the fasts interfering with their daily lives.

I think once you hit 4 fasts a week, you would start noticing it effecting your life and becoming less flexible a more like a traditional diet (boring and mundane!). When it comes to weight loss, a consistent loss that is maintainable is much better than a quick loss which may not be sustainable.

In terms of the creatine and weight training it really depends on your goals.

If your goal is to increase muscle weight, and strength than you may want to consider supplementing.

However you will see increases in muscle weight and strength with weight training alone.

My advice would be to start weight training and monitor your progress over a 6-8 week period. If you are happy with your results then there is no need to supplement.

If you would like to see more strength or more muscle mass, this is when you may want to consider creatine.

Hope this helps,
